Harrisburg International Airport

Dawood provided surveying services, was responsible for field crew coordination and supervision reduced and plotted field survey data, and prepared final drawings, including topographic mapping and existing conditions surveys, for the $240-million passenger terminal and multi-modal transportation facility. Special design considerations included underscored security measures for passengers as well as airport and airline staff and designing within the floodplain and an increasingly developed area. Dawood also managed the subsurface investigations for the design of the airport parking garage. Dawood has also performed other projects at HIA, including high mast light inspection and removal plans.
